Arnold Sidney TEAGUE & Alice ORMROD, Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire

Arnold was born in 1884 in Mevagissey, Cornwall, the 11th of the 14 children of Robert & Eliza TEAGUE. He is believed to have moved to Lancashire with his mother and several siblings in 1898.

Married: Alice ORMROD, daughter of Richard & Sarah Jane Ormrod at Stamford St. Methodist Church, Ashton-under-Lyne in August 1914.

Arnold served with the Lancashire Fusiliers during World War I and spent some time in Mesopotamia. He was a Master Barber and had a business at 152 Mossley Road, Ashton-under-Lyne. He died on 4 April, 1943 at the age of 59 and his ashes were interred at Manchester Crematorium. Probate of his will was granted to his widow, Alice TEAGUE and his brother Hedley Perry TEAGUE.
