In 1850 Census, Chatham Co, p380, Christopher Teague is listed as age 23, farmer, with wife Jane (age 20) and children James W (2) and William (10 months).
In 1860 Census, Chatham Co, p309, Christopher Teague is listed as age 33, with wife Laura (26), children Jas (13), Wm (11), and Sarah (5). Adolphus York (2) is also living with them.
The will of Christopher Teague, dated 12 Dec 1899, identifies his wife as Laura Ann Teague, serving as executrix with Henry Clay Teague as executor. The will lists his children as James W Teague, Sarah Ellen Isley, Rosetta Workman, Eugene Teague, Henrietta Stuart, Florence Euliss, Henry Clay Teague, and Delia Fogburn. The will also mentions his wife's son Adolphus. (12 May 1900, Alamance Co will book 3, p314-17)
In 1900 Census, Alamance Co, Pattersons Twp, ED 1, sheet 8, line 49, Laura Teague is head of household, age 64, born Mar 1834, widow, with 8 children, 7 still living. She owns her farm, and can read and write. Living with her is Everet Stewart, her grandson, age 16, born Jan 1884, a farmer, can read and write.
Married: Christopher married (1) Jane A. HINSHAW on 13 Sep 1846. Jane was born 5 Jun 1828. She died 12 Feb 1858.
Christopher also married (2) Laura Ann YORK on 18 Nov 1858. Laura Ann was born 5 Mar 1834 and died 3 Mar 1923.
