Michael TEAGUE & Sarah KILLIAN
Michael TEAGUE was born 1785, the son of John Teague & Martha Symington, in Chatham Co., North Carolina.
Married: Michael married Sarah KILLIAN abt. 1808 in North Carolina. Sarah Killian was born abt. 1786 in Burke Co.,
North Carolina, and died abt. 1865 in Wise County, Texas. She is buried at
the Teague Family Cemetary near Rhome, Texas (there is a highway marker
located there).
The children all appear to have been born in North Carolina, but the family
moved to
Missouri afterwards. Here Michael and Sarah divorced, with Michael leaving
the family and moving to Indiana, where he started another family and died
about 1846.
Sarah moved with her son John (my great, great grandfather) to Wise Co.,
Texas,
and lived with him until her death in 1865. She is buried at the Teague
Family Cemetary located on a farm road between Rhome and Newark, in Wise
County,
Texas.
