MOSES TEAGUE & Jane COPPOCK

MOSES TEAGUE was born 06 Feb 1794 in Newberry Co., SC, the son of SAMUEL TEAGUE & Rebecca FURNAS. His family migrated to Ohio in about 1805.

Moses was a farmer.

According to Quaker records, Moses & wife Jane moved to Indiana. They transferred membership to White Lick MM (IN) in 1856, then to Wabash MM (IN)in 1859. They returned to Ohio, transferring membership back to Union MM (OH) in 1868.

Moses died in Newton Twp., Miami Co., 18 Feb 1871, at the age of 77 years, 12 days, as a result of typhoid fever and is buried in Union-Joint Cemetery, Newton Twp. Miami, Co OH with his wife Jane, who died 18 Jan 1875.

Married: Married: Jane COPPOCK, the daughter of Thomas COPPOCK & Elizabeth MAST 31 Jan, 1817. Jane was born 7 Jun 1799. She died 18 Jan 1874.

Joseph Teague b 15 Sep 1818

John Teague b 29 Dec 1821, d 10 May 1898

Mary Teague b 22 Jun 1825. She died 2 Oct 1871 in W. Branch MM, Miami Co., OH. Mary married David Marmaduke COATE on 20 Sep 1843. David was born 9 Jul 1823 in Union Twp., Miami Co., OH. He died after 1871.

Thomas Jefferson Teague b 21 Jul 1830, d 19 Aug 1914

Samuel Teague b 05 Mar 1832, d 20 Sep 1867

William Teague b 26 Nov 1838

Rhoda Furnas Teague b 1839

Lewis Miles TEAGUE was born 1843 in Oh, Usa.

There is doubt whether the last two children belonged to this family. They do not appear on a list of children, compiled between 1871 & 1873. Anyone with any sourced information that they did??
