Robert Carson Bruce TEAGUE was born 24 Nov 1850 in Cherokee Co., AL, the son of Silas Teague & Nancy Golden

Married: Archaner Angeline POWELL, (b: 10 May 1852 in MS, d: 18 Apr 1934 in Welty, OK), 1879 in Comanche Co., Oklahoma.

Robert C.B. Teague was a Baptist minister. He established the first church of Baptist faith at the foot of Mt. Scott, Comanche Co. Oklahoma Territory near Lake Lawtonka, in the late 1880s. The Native American Indians living there called him "Preacher Man". He also owned and operated a Trading Post in the same area during those early years. When he died on 5 July 1924, he was still living in his home eighteen miles from Lawton, Oklahoma.
