JOSHUA TEAGUE & HANNAH


JOSHUA TEAGUE was born Abt. 1746 in Frederick Co. VA, the son of Elijah Teague & Alice Davis.

He died 1816 in Laurens SC

He moved with his parents to old 96th District SC sometime between 1760 and 1767.

Joshua Teague and his brother Elijah Teague have detailed information about them in Alabama Records, V 156, pp. 78-81. Joshua furnished supplies for the American Revolution. Claim was made for this with the State of South Carolina, claim on file SC Historical Comm, Columbia SC.

His will was made 12 Mar 1816, Newberry Co. SC.

ELIJAH TEAGUE, b. April 15, 1789

SARAH TEAGUE, b. December 1790, Newberry Co.SC; d. November 11, 1857, Pototoc Co MS Cherry Creek Cemetery. Sarah married James Smith

HANNAH TEAGUE, b. December 29, 1795, SC; d. December 24, 1868, Ecru, MS (Cherry Creek Cemetery). Hannah married John PITTS on 1817/1818.
