| tbassistant@worldnet.att.net 19 June 1999 I know very little about my grandfather, Lorenzo M. Teague. I have seen his name both ways. He was married to Lizzie B. Casher when she was 16 or 17 (Her mother was Adeline (or Adelyn) Levenia Hutchins Casher. He died 12/2/1908 of typhoid fever, probably in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and his body was transported to another county. Prior to his death at about age 27, he evidently had to travel to find work, evidently had some family in Texas. His only child, Sylvia May Teague, was born in 1906 and I have a post card to my grandmother expressing how upset he was he could not be with her. I find notes and pictures with the following names: Jim Teague (James?), Eugene, Bud, E.L. Teague, Viola, Stella & Jess. Jim Teague's children were Edgar (son), Vivian (daughter), an unknown daughter, and a Mae (daughter). We have a picture of a lady with a note on the back saying it was his Aunt (first name unknown) O'banion. I can't make any connections from anything I've seen on the web, yet on my husband's side, it seems we find a first or second cousin almost every other week. I don't remember the date of his birth, but it was not registered until after his death at the same time in the 40's that my aunt, who worked for the State of Arkansas, registered my grandmother's birth. Anyone see anything that makes sense? Any connections would be appreciated.   |
